Looks like you gave up on pushing a clearly poorly thought out ideology... Good idea... You seem smart. You went down a rabbit hole that will never ever deliver the kind of insight that a Colman Hughes offers... Economics is the death knell for right wing politics
Please don’t just link to random articles without specifying the relevance to something I have written. I am extraordinarily tolerant of dissent but I’m not as tolerant of trolls or spammers.
"I'm going to choose the Democrat -- even if the Democratic Party is the Unredeemed Party of Slavery."
The type of misleading language that comes from someone reading misinformation published by the people that funded people like James Buchanan. Your mind set was framed by people that simply want you to divide yourself from other voters so the RICH can control Law Makers with out the law makers facing the threat of voters not voting for them even after they support policy that serves the rich at the expense of the poor and middle class
It is crystal clear. You asked me to use your words and i did.
Your words and as such thoughts come from propaganda that is being manufactured by the rich. I gave you the link to an article that investigated the origins of that form of propaganda and who funds it and profits from it.
Crystal clear if you are interested in learning from your mistakes. I would suggest you read Tiabbi's HATE Inc which is rooted in Noam Chomsky's Manufactured Consent. They show exactly how the media is influenced by those with power to mislead people like you into having the kinds of ideas you expressed in your writing.
"I'll be voting yes tomorrow to recall Governor Newsom and voting for Kevin Paffrath to replace him. Nothing about California has gotten better since Newsom has been governor"
You are voting to recall a democratically elected Governor with over 50% acceptance in polls with Californians based on a ballot initiative funded by Billionaires trying to subvert the democratic process.
The link i sent you references a book written about a person and group of people that laid down the framework for how the RICH should try and subvert the democratic process to reduce the power of democracy.
I agree that Newsome is a terrible governor for most of the reasons you articulate. But unlike you I did not FALL fo the Billionaire funded attempted to overthrow and election just because they dont want to pay their fair share of taxes
I don’t care who funded the recall. It was a good idea to recall him regardless. A recall isn’t an attempt “to overthrow” an election. It is a possible escape hatch from a mistake.
Every major election is funded by billionaires. That goes for campaigns from both political parties. If a person is going to avoid participating in voting where a billionaire has funded some aspect of it, they won’t be voting in the US.
" I don’t care who funded the recall. It was a good idea to recall him regardless. A recall isn’t an attempt “to overthrow” an election. It is a possible escape hatch from a mistake."
Again, your words.
Yes a recall of a popular Democratic governor funded by Republican Billionaires is is exactly what i called it. An attempt to subvert Democracy to serve the people that FUNDED the recall not the people that thought the recall was to benefit them.
The ideology that conservative economic or political ideas benefit minorities. They clearly do not infact most of them were manufactured explicitly to get poor white voters support for policy that served the rich and privileged. The work done by the Nobel Prize winning economist James Buchanan is ground zero of proving that the ideas you are pushing were literally manufactured by the rich expressly to get get poor white people to vote for policy that benefitted the rich and powerful.
I’m not a “conservative” and I never wrote anything like the idea that “conservative economic and political ideas benefit minorities.” The terms “conservative” and “liberal” are both too overloaded, vague, and contested for me to use them when describing my own ideas. They are conceptual straight-jackets.
And if you are going to cite the ideas of someone else, pointing out that they are a Nobel Prize winning economist is pointless. Actually explain the relevance of the specific ideas to your argument and the empirical and logical support for them. Name dropping people who won awards to support your views will never deliver any kind of insight and certainly not the kind that a Coleman Hughes offers.
JP - I am referencing the large amount of work that Buchanan did and that has now been researched and exposed showing that he "manufactured" a set of lies and narratives, funded by wealthy Americans, to misinform Americans.
The language you use in your writing reveals you have been influenced by the propaganda he and his group produced.
I don’t have time to read random articles linked by people who have misconstrued my philosophy as “conservative”. Specifically cite the language I have used, and use your own words to describe the issue you have with it. Your method of argumentation is garbage so far.

I don’t follow. What ideology do you think I gave up pushing?
Nancy MacLean’s Democracy in Chains is part of a new wave of historiography that has been examining the southern roots of modern conservatism.

Do you want me to go on showing how your words and thinking are influenced by propaganda funded by the RICH? i can.
Nah. You seem like either or troll or really confused.

I have no idea what you are babbling about. It is incoherent.
